Our Story
The Prologue.
In 2021, we were surprised by the lack of depth in the home automation sensor market. With thermostats and security sensors dominating the industry, we saw a critical need for sensors that reduced the usage of the top energy consuming appliances. The main requirement was that they had to have detectable and correctable shortcomings.
Assembling a team with highly skilled industry experts, we quickly began prototyping. Over the next two years, we studied dryer data and refined both our product and our algorithms.
In 2024, we launched the first ever smart sensor to detect dryer vent blockages, dryer failures and energy inefficiencies.
